BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Special Warranty
Deed from the City of Lubbock to the Young Men's Christian Association of
Lubbock, Texas, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of
the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and
be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied here' in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 28th day of M�yy, 970.

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS I
KNOW -ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK 1
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideratom of the sum of TEN AND
N01100 ($10. 00) DOLLARS, and other good and valuable consideration to it
in hand paid by the YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF LUBBOCK,
TEXAS, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, have
GRANTED. SOLD and CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT, SELL and
CONVEY unto the said YOUNG MEWS CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF LUBBOCK,
TEXAS, all that lot, tract or parcel of land situated, in Lubbock County, Texas
as described as follows;
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 3, Block 33,
McCrummen's Second Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Texas;
THENCE South a distance of 300. 00 feet to a point;
THENCE West a distance of 14. 00 feet to a point;
THENCE North a distance of 300.00 feet to a point;
THENCE East a distance of 14.00 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with
all and singular, the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto
the said YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, its
successors and assigns, forever, and it does hereby bind itself, its successors
and assigns, to WARRANT AND DEPEND all and singular the said premises unto
the said YOUNG MEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, its
successors and assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claim the
same, or any thereto, by, through or under it but not otherwise.
