`RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Tracts A, B, C and D, South Park Addition, made
arrangements with Commercial Concrete Construction Co. for the construction of
paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the
provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of
Tracts A, B, C and D, South Park Addition including the following streets:
The East 1/2 of Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 16.00 feet South
of the South Property Line of 66th Street to its intersection with a line 7.00
feet North of the South Property Line of 67th Street (Drainage Channel Only) kn
and designated as Part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1829.
Alley stubs on the West Side of Quaker Avenue South of 66th Street (one stub on
Quaker Avenue only), known and designated as Part of New Subdivision Unit Number
1830.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above -
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have
been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with
the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release
escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in
passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Commercial
Concrete Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with
the subdividers of Tracts A, B, C and D, South Park Addition and find the
improvements on the East 1/2 of Salem Avenue from 16' S. of the SPL of 66th
Street to 7' North of the SPL of 67th Street (Drainage Channel only) - N.S. - 1829.
Alley Stubs on the west side of Quaker Avenue South of 66th Street (one stub
on Quaker Avenue only) - N.S. 1830,
as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with
the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on
said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount
shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the
City of Lubbock.
