RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Victor H. Lindsey, an honorable gentleman and dedicated
jurist, has passed from our midst on the twelfth day of April, 1967; and,
WHEREAS, his life was a fine example for others both in his
personal integrity and in his unselfish devotion to his calling as Judge
of the 72nd District Court of Lubbock County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this body to note the passing and
honor the memory of this conscientious lawyer; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the City of Lubbock is hereby declared to
be in a state of mourning from 1:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. this
lath day of April, 1967, and during this time all flags on City property
shall be flown at half-mast in respect for the memory of the late
Victor H. Lindsey, Judge of the 72nd District Court of Lubbock County,
Texas.
