BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCKi
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock, Texas, is hereby authorized and
l� directed to execute for and on behalf of the said City of Lubbock a General Warrant
3 Deed with Vendorts Lien reserved. A copy of said Deed is attached hereto and
made a part of this Resolution for all purposes. A copy of said Deed shall be
spread upon the minutes of this Council. The City Secretary shall attest the
signature of the Mayor to said Deed and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock
thereto.
Passed by the City Council this 12th day of March , 1964.

(Development Corporation's promissory vendor's lien note of even date here-

A promissory vendor's lien noto dated 1964,
In the sum of Eighty Six Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Eight
and No/100 ($06,328.00) Dollars non-interest bearing, payable
or. demand to the City of Lubbock, Teims, said note being made
by the Southeast Lubbock Development Corporation.
Have GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED, and by these presents do
GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the said grantee, Southeest Lubbock Develop-
ment Corporation, of Lubbock County, Texas, all that certain tracts of land
located in. Lubbock County, Texas, and more particularly described as follows:
Lot 1, Block 33; Lots 1 and 2, Block 391 Lots 1, 2, and 3,
Block 40; Lot 1, Block 42; Lot 1, Block 43; Lots 1 and 2,
Block 44 all of which Lots and Blocks: are in Coronado
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,
as shown in the Plat recorded in Volume 071, Pages 311
through 313 inclusive, Deed Records. Lubbock County,
Texas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described property and premises, to-
gether with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belon3-
ing, unto the said grantee, and its assigns forever; and I do hereby bind the City
of Lubbock and its successors to warrant and forever defend all and singular the
said premiseb unto the said grantee, and its assigns, against every person
whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof.
But it is expressly stipulated and agreed that a vendor's lien and the
superior title are retained ags.innt the above described property and premises
until said note is fully and finally paid according to its face and tenor, effect and
rieading, when this deed shall become absolute.
