to ezedute and deliver certific: teo in evidence of the assessments levied
against the parcels of property abutting; upon the said portions of the alleys,
streets and/or avenues listed a.bovo and against tho o;sners of such property
in accordance t:-ith lau cxd in the manner provided in said contract, and the
proceedings with reference to said improvements and assessments where such
assessrents Caere levied.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Pioneer Pavers; paving contractor, under their contract dated
April 28, 1961 designated as G.1•I.O. 10,199 and find the improvements
on Slide Road, College Avenue, 47th Street, 40th Street, Raleigh
Avenue, 41st Street, 4L;th Street, Salem Avenue and Avenue L as listed
on the final estimate and assessment sheet to have been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock and issue
assignable certificates against property owners for the respective
amounts shown on the attached final assessment sheets as .being due against
them and their respective properties.
