RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the Citizens National Bank of Lubbock;, Texas,,. desires to be
granted easement rights to permit construction of a basement under and a
parking *building canopy over the public way at the bank expansion project site
in downtown Lubbock as more particularly described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS,*, the City Commission finds that the granting of such easements
will not interfere with the publie use of the street right of way nor createany
hazardous or dangerous condition thereon; and would be authorized by Art.
1085b, ,V. ernon=s Anns Cii Stats.; and the City Commission deems it expe-
dient andbathe public interest to grant said request; NOW THEREFORE.,,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor BE and he is hereby= authorized and directed
to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock the attached easement from
said City to the Citizens National Bank., granting said Citizens National Bank
an underground easement at the following described location:
BEGINNING at a point which is 2 feet East of the
back of the curb along the East side of:Avenue L said
point also being 8 feet more or less West of the South
West corner of Lot S., Block 163, Oriio nal Town,.
Lubbock County,, Texas;
THENCE North a distance of'1BQ feet to ajapoint;
THENCE A routtd M curve to the right having a radius of
8 feet to a'point 2 feet South of the curb along the South
side of 14th Street., said point being approximately 8 feet
North of the Northwest corner of Lot It, ,said Block 163;
THENCE Easterly parallel to the South curb of 14th
Street to a point approximately 8 feet North of the North•-
-C-ar?_t'corner of Lot 20w. said Block 163;
THENCE around a curve having a radius of approximately
8 feet to a point 2 feet West of the West curb of Avenue K
and said point being approximately 8 feet East of the North-
east corner of Lot 203, said Block 163;
THENCE South a distance of 130 feet* more or less, to
a point 2 feet West of the West curb of Avenue K said
point being approximately 8 feet East of the Southeast
corner of Lot 16 said Block 163;
THENCE West a distance of 8 feet more or less to the
Southeast corner of Lot IS,,. said Block 163;
THENCE North a distance of ISO feet more or less to
the Northeast corner of Lot 20y, said Block 163;
THENCE West a distance of 125 feet to the Northwest
corner of said Lot 20;
THENCE South a distance of 150 feet more or less to
the Southwest corner of Lot 1`8, of said Block 163;
THENCE West a distance of 20 feet to the Southeast corner
of Lot Op of said Block 163;
THENCE North a distance 130 feet more or less to the
Northeast corner of Lot 1,. said Block 163;
THENCE West a distance of 125 feet to the Northwest
corner of said'Lot 1;
THENCE South a distance of 130 feet,., more or less: to
Southwest corner of Lot of said Block 163;
THENCE West a distance of 8 feet more or less to the
POINT OF BEGINNING:
such easement as attached being incorporated by reference in to this resolution a
fully as if set out in whole herein for all purposes; and which said easement furth r
grants said Citizens National Bank an aerial easement at the following described
r— location;
BEGINNING at a point which is the Southeast corner of
Lots, Block 163. of Original Town., City of Lubbock;
THENCE North a distance of 130 feett more or less
.to a,point which is the Northeast corner of Lot 1: said
Block 163;
THENCE West a distance of 125 feet? more or less to
a point which is the Northwest corner of said Lot 1;
THENCE North a distance of 8 feet.., more or less to
a point which is Z feet South of the South .curb of 14th
Street;
THENCE East parallel to the South curb of 14th Street a
distance of 270 feets, more or less to a point that is 8 feet$
more or less North of the Northeast corner of Lot 20,. said
Block 163;
THENCE South a distance of 8 feet,., more or less to the
Northeast corner of said Lot 20;
THENCE West a distance of 125 feet,., more or less to the
Northwest corner .of said Lot ZO;
