RESOLUTION
WHEREAS,, heretofore T. Euel Liner and Thomas R. Neely had conveyed to the
City of Lubbock a Power Line Easement over and across property hereinbelow
specifically described; and
WHEREAS, such easement is no longer needed by the City of Lubbock for any
of the purposes originally conveyed; NOW THEREFORE$
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor BE and he is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock the attached Quit Claim Deed con-
veying to T. Euel Liner and Thomas R. Neely all that right title and interest ac-
jquired by said City of Lubbock from said T. Euel Liner and Thomas R. Neely by
,virtue of Power Line Easement dated the 18th day of November, 1957,. and re-
',corded in Volume 675 Page 355, Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, in that
'lot, tract or parcel of land in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas,, more parti-
cularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 28,
Block E-2, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE East along the North line of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section
28, Block E-2 a distance of 1122 feet, more or less, to a point in the
West line of a previously dedicated 30 foot strip of land South of said
North line;
THENCE South a distance of 30 feet to a point;
THENCE West parallel to and 30 feet South of the North line of the
Northeast 1/4 of said Section 28, Block E-2 a distance of 1122 feet,
more or less, to a point in the West line of said Nortkeast 1/4;
THENCE North along said West line a distance of 30 feet to the
POINT OF BEGINNING and contains .77 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary-Treasurer its authorized to attest such
Quit Claim Deed and affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK j
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal Corporation of the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100
($1.00) DOLLARS to it cash in hand paid by T. Euel Liner and Thomas E. Neely both
of the County of Lubbock, State of Texan, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged an
confessed, and other good and valuable consideration, does by these presents BAR-
GAIN, SELL, RELEASE and FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said T. Euel .Liner one
Thomas E. Neely, their heirs and assigns, all its right,,title and interest as herein-
below specified in and to that certain tract of land lying andtheing situated in the Coux
of Lubbock and State of.Texas more particularly described as follows, to-wit:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of the Northeast 1/4 of Section Z8,
Block E-*Zt Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE East along the North line of the Northeast 1/4 of said ,section
Z8, Block E-Z a:distance of IIZZ.feet, more or less, to a point in.the
West line of a previously dedicated 30 foot strip of land south of:said
North line}
THENCE South a distance of 30 feet to a points
THENCE West parallel to and 30 feet South of the North line of the Northeast
1/4 of said Section Z8, Block E4 a distance of.11ZZ feet, more or less, to
a point in the West line of said Northeast 1/4;
THENCE North along said West line a distance of 30 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING and contains .77 acres, more or less.
It is the purpose and intent of this Quit Claim Deed to convey to said T. Euel
Liner and Thomas E. Neely only such rights,,title and interests in said property
acquired and held by the City of Lubbock under that certain power Line Easement
from said T. Euel Liner and Thomas E. Neely to said City of Lubbock, dated Novem
ber 18, 1957, and recorded in Volume 675 page.355, Deed Records of Lubbock
County, Texas.
TO HAVE AND TO BOLD the above-described premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges,and appurtenances thereto In any manner belonging
unto the said T. Euel Liner and Thomas E. Neely, their heirs and assigns, for.
ever ,so that neither the said City of Lubbock, nor its successors and assigns, ,nor
any person or persons claiming under it shall at any time hereafter, have, claim
or demand any right, title or interest to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances
or any part thereof.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the CITY OF LUBBOCK has caused its corporate name
to be hereunto subscribed by its Mayor and its duly attested corporate seal to be
