Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements oonstruated by Warren and
Puxtell, Ina., pawing contractors, as authorized by resoluitione
passed and approved June 10, dune 24, August 12, October 14, 1954,
and find the improvements on streets known and designated as
Paid of Unit No. 1608, 1610, 1611, 1612, 1619, 1620, 1621., 1622,
1623, 1630 and 1644 as listed on the attached final estimate sheet
to have been completed in accordance With plans and specifications
and recommend tlkat you accept im r6vements on said streets, paying
the contractor the suount shown on the attached consolidated estimate
sheet on the due date show on the abovementi.oned resolutions as due
him by the City of 16bbock.

RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/GR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed resolution on June 10, June 24, August
12, October 14, 1954, authorizing the construction of street improvements by
Warren and Purtell, Inc., on portions of various streets in said City including
among others the followings
Avenue P from its intersection with the South Property Line 27th Street to
its intersection with the North Property Line 28th Street, known and
designated as Unit Number 1608.
40th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line Hartford Avenue
to its intersection with a line 9' E. of East Property Line Indiana Avenue,
known and designated as Unit Number 1610.
43rd Street from its intersection with the East Property Line Hartford Avenue
to its intersection with a line 91 8. of East Property Line Indiana Avenue,
known and designated as Unit Number 1611.
43rd Street from its intersection with the West Property Line Gary Avenue _.
to its intersection with the East Property Line of Hartford Avenue, ]mown and
designated as Unit 'Number 1612;
45th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue
to its intersection with the West Property Line of Gary Avenue, known and
designated as Unit Number 1619.
46th Street from its intersection with the West Property Line of Flint Avenue

1 AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the above-
mentioned streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed I�
according to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be,
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized
to direct the payment of the City's share.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.

abutting Avenue F for constructing
paving improvements in accordance with city standard plans and specifications on

Unit 160.8 , was duly approved and authorized by resolution of the City Commission
passed 94th day of Jude 1954 , and that the work has been
completed according to the plans and specifications pertaining to the project and
that all labor, material, supplies and other cost including equipment, rental and
hire, and all expense items incurred in connection with said project have been paid
in full; that all liens and rights to fix liens against any part of said project
or the moneys, bonds, or warrants due the Contractor, have been satisfied by payment
to the claimant, his authorized agent or attorney, and full release of all recorded
liens or claims have been secured by settlement and duly filed of record with the
County Clerk of Lubbock County.

laws were substantially complied with by me in doing and carrying out the job
and project herein referred to and that I paid applicable scale of wages, and
this affidavit is made to secure acceptance of these improvements by the City
Commission and therefore cause the first payment of the property owner portion of
the cost as set forth in the property owner contracts to become due and payable
within ten days of such acceptance, and this affidavit is also made to secure
payment of the City°s portion due the contractor upon the date of city payment as
set forth in the resolution of authorization.
