HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 091929 - Dedication - Protestant Episcopal Board Of Trustees - Hankins & Overton Addition - 09/19/1929STAVE OF TEXAS X THE PROTESTANT EPISCOPAL BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THF ldTSST()N?RY RTSTRI(:T OF NORTH TEXAS COUNTY OF LUBBOCK () TO PUBLIC The undersigned, The protestant Episcopal Board of Trustees of the Missionary District of North Texas, of Potter County, texas, is the owner of Lots One (1) and Two (2) in Block One (1) of the Hankins Addition to the town of Lubbock, in Lubbock County l`'exss, and hereb, dedicate to the public, for public use, a strip seven and one-half (7j-) feet wide off the East end of said property, so that there shall be a fifteen foot (15) alley between Block One, Hankins Ad- dition and Block One Hundred Four, Overton Addition, in the town of Lubbock, Texas. It being understood that the owners of the remaining oortion of said Block No. 1, of the said Hankins Addition will likewise dedicate a seven and one-half (72) foot strip of land off the East end thereof, and that the owners of said Block 104, of the said Overton Addition will likewise dedicate a strip of lend seven and one-half (7-) feet in width, off the West end of said Block, so that there shall be an alley fifteen feet in width between said two blocks of land. ' t Amarillo, Texas September 19, 1929 I hereby certify that at a meeting of the Direc- tors of the Protestant Episcopal Board of Trustees for the Mis- sionary District of North Texas at Amarillo, Texas on the 19th day of September, 1929, at 3:30 P- M—, the following Resolution was duly passed: "RESOLVED: That this Board be authorized and in- structed to dedicate to the rublic, for public use, a strip seven and one half feet Bride off the East end of lots One (1) and Two (2) in Block One (1) of the Hankins addition to the town of Lub- bock, Lubbock County, Texas, so that when a similar strip has been dedicated off of the West end of Block One Hundred and Four (104) Overton Addition to the town of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, there shall be a fifteen foot alley between the above described Blocks; and the Bishop is hereby authorized to execute the instrument necessary to dedicate said property to the public."
