Oq29 S3E/VWHEREAS, Texas Technological College administration, incoopera-
tion with the. City Traffic Engineer, 'has worked out a plan of traffic control onthe streets, roads and alleys on the college campus, which plan is representedby plats of the campus designated as "Schedules" or . "Exhibits, " and each plathas a controlling legend relating to areas, streets, roads and alleys, namely,"Schedule 1, 11 showing no-parkingarea; "Schedule 2, " showing no parking onclopy, streets between 7A.M. and 5'P.M.; ",Schedule 3. 11 showingone-way streets;j6 -2 -53 "Schedule 4, " showing location'of traffic signals; and "Schedule 5, showingthe location of loading; zone s;'and,texas d2echt1r,affic11,F,nj,,r. WHEREAS, it is contemplated that the City Traffic Engineer will byefn ordinance be authorized to insta affic control signAls, devices and signson the campus in accordance with said'Schedules or Exhibits; and,WHEREAS, after due consideration by College authorities,, the TrafficEngineer and the City Commission, it is found that said plan of vehicular andpedestrian traffic control is needed in the public interest and will promotepublic safety, and that a true copy of said Schedules or Exhibits should at alltimes remain on file with the City Secretary for public inspection and reference;BE ITRESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCKT HAT Schedules -or Exhibits 1, relating to parking., Schedule 2, relatingto parking, Schedule 3. relating to on'e-mray streets, Schedule 4, relating totraffic signalt, Schedule 5. relating to loading zones, BE, and said Schedulesand Exhibits are hereby approved and a"Pted by the Commission as a compre-
hensive traffic control plan for the Texas'' Tecluiological College Campus, andthe same shall be filed with the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock to be keptpermanently ' as other records are kept, and the Mayor andCity Secretary areauthorized to identify eachof -the schedules attached hereto by signing theirnames on the face thereof in their official capacities.On motion of Con-imissioner Carpenter seconded by Commissioner Thomas this Resolution was passed by the CityCommission this 29 day of- September 1953$ by the following vote:Commissioners voting "YEA.": 11orris, Carpenter, Davis, Thomas &Iflayor TrippCommissioners voting �INAYII: lione
