RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Richland Hills Addition, Lots 490-579,
600-613, made arrangements with Kerr Construction Company for the construction
of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under
the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision
plat of Richland Hills Addition, Lots 490-579, 600-613 including the
following streets:
48th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East
Property Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with a line 30 feet East
of the Southeast corner of Lot 519, Richland Hills Addition, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1460.
Albany Avenue from its intersection with a line 30 feet East of the Southeast
corner of Lot 519, Richland Hills Addition to its intersection with aline
3 feet South of the South Property Line of the alley North of 48th Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1461.
Belmont Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of the South
Property Line of the alley North of 48th Street to its intersection with a
line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 48th Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1462.
Bangor Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 48th Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet South
of the South Property Line of the alley South of 49th Street (East Leg) less
the intersection of 49th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 1463.
49th Street from its intersection with a line 20.47 feet Northeast of the
Southwest corner of Lot 552, Richland Hills Addition to its intersection with
the end of the cul-de-sac East of Bangor Avenue, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 1464.
Belmont Avenue from its intersection with a line 10 feet South of the North
Property Line of the alley South of 49th Street to its intersection with a
line 20.47 feet Northeast of the Southwest corner of Lot 552, Richland Hills
Addition, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1465.
Chicago Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of 48th Street to its intersection with the center line of
the alley South of 48th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 1466.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City EngL
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK$ TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and
to release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
Construction Company, paving contractor, under their contract with the
Subdividers -of Richland Hills Addition and find the improvements on
48th Street, 49th Street, Albany Avenue, Bangor Avenue,, Belmont Avenue,
and Chicago Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend
that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues,
authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached
consolidated final estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
