RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed in
favor of PORT CITY COMPRESS AND WAREHOUSE COMPANY, attached herewith
which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the min-
utes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully
copied herein in detail.

THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality of the County
of Lubbock, State of Toms,, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
NOI 100 ($1.00) DOLLARS, and other good and valuable consideration to It in
hand paid by PORT CITY COMPRESS AND WAREHOUSE COMPANY of Harris
County, 'Texas, the receipt of which fit hereby acknowledged and confessed,
does hereby ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM
unto the said PORT CITY COMPRESS AND WAREYOUSE COMPANY, of ftrris
County, Texas, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract of
land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described
as follows:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 1,
Block 46, Wheelockto Second Addition, Lubbock,
Texas;
THENCE East a distance of 140. 00 feet to the North-
east corner of said Lot:
THENCE North a distance of 25.00 feet to a point;
THENCE West a distance of 140.00 f to a point,
THENCE South a distance of 25.00 feet to the POINT
OF BEGINMG.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said promises together with all and
singular the rights and privUeges ,and appurtenances thereto in any manner
belonging unto the said PORT CITY COMPRESS AND WAREHOUSE COMPANY
its successors and assigns, nor any person or persons claiming under it shall,
at azy time hereafter, have, claim, or demand any right to title to the afore-
said promises or appurtenances, or any part thereof.,
