SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
DECEMBER 15, 2003

The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in special session on the 15th
day of December, 2003, in Council Chambers, first floor, City Hall, 1625 13th
Street, Lubbock, Texas at 4:00 P. M.
4:05 P. M. CITY COUNCIL CONVENED
City Council Chambers, 1625 13th Street, Lubbock, Texas
Present: Mayor Marc McDougal, Mayor Pro Tem Victor Hernandez, Council
Member Jim Gilbreath, Council Member Tom Martin, and Council
Member T. J. Patterson.
Absent: Council Members Gary O. Boren and Frank W. Morrison
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor McDougal stated: "City Council will hold an executive session
today for the purpose to deliberate the appointment of a City Manager and
take appropriate action as provided by Subchapter D of Chapter 551 of the
Government Code, the Open Meeting Law."
4:06 P. M. CITY COUNCIL RECESSED TO EXECUTIVE SESSION
City Council/City Manager's Conference Room
All council members were present.
9:50 P. M. CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING RECONVENED
City Council Chambers, 1625 13th Street, Lubbock, Texas
9:51 P. M. COUNCIL ADJOURNED
There being no further business to come before Council, Council Member
Patterson moved to adjourn. Mayor McDougal adjourned the meeting.
