SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in special session on the 9th day
of October, 2003, in City Council Chambers, first floor, City Hall, 1625 13th Street,
Lubbock, Texas at 12:10 P. M.
12:10 P. M. CITY COUNCIL CONVENED
Committee Room 103, 1625 13th Street, Lubbock, Texas
Present: Mayor Marc McDougal, Council Member Gary O. Boren, Council
Member Jim Gilbreath, Council Member Tom Martin, Council
Member Frank W. Morrison, Council Member T.J. Patterson
Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Hernandez
Mayor McDougal called the meeting to order at 12:10 P. M.
( 1.) Presentation of an honorary citizenship to Talmadge Heflin,
Chairman of the Texas House Appropriations Committee, for his
exemplary service on behalf of the citizens of Texas in the State
Legislature.
Mayor McDougal made the presentation to Mr. Heflin. Representative
Delwin Jones and Representative Carl Isett also made comments. Monte
Hasie was also in attendance.
12:15 P. M. COUNCIL ADJOURNED
There being no further business to come before Council, the meeting
adjourned.
