The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in special session on the 16'
day of December, 1999, in the City Council Chambers, first floor, City Hall, 1625
13th Street, Lubbock, Texas at 12:15 P. M.

Present: Mayor Windy Sitton, Councilmember Alex "Ty" Cooke,
Councilmember Victor Hernandez, Councilmember Marc
McDougal, Councilmembers David Nelson, and Councilmember
T. J. Patterson
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Councilmember Cooke stated the Council would hold an executive
session in accordance with V.T.C.A. Government Code, Section 551.086
to deliberate, vote and take first action regarding the purchase by Lubbock
Power & Light of natural gas.
12:41 P. M. CITY COUNCIL RECESSED TO EXECUTIVE SESSION

( 1.) Resolution No. 6643 — LP&L Competitive Matters. Hold an executive
session in accordance with V.T.C.A. Government Code, Section
551.086 to deliberate, vote and take first action regarding the
purchase by Lubbock Power & Light of natural gas.

There being no further business to come before Council, Councilmember
McDougal made a motion to adjourn; Councilmember Nelson seconded
the motion. Motion carried: 4 Yeas, 0 Nays. Motion carried with the
majority of remaining Council present at adjournment: Councilmember
Cooke, Councilmember McDougal, Councilmember Nelson, and
Councilmember Patterson.
