SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
November 25, 1998
10:00 A. M.
The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in special session on the 25th
day of November, 1998, in the City Council Chambers, first floor, City Hall, 1625
13th Street, Lubbock, Texas at 10:00 A. M.
10:00 A. M. CITY COUNCIL CONVENED
Present: Councilmember Alex "Ty" Cooke, Councilmember Victor
Hernandez, Councilmember Marc McDougal, and Councilmember
T. J. Patterson
10:00 A. M. CITY COUNCIL RECESSED TO EXECUTIVE SESSION
City Council/City Manager's Conference Room
( 1.) Hold an executive session in accordance with V.T.C.A. Government
Code, Section 551.071(1)(A) to discuss pending or contemplated
litigation (Water Utilities).
(2.) Hold an executive session in accordance with V.T.C.A. Government
Code, Section 551.072 to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or
value of real property (Water Utilities).
10:56 A. M. COUNCIL RECONVENED
Mayor Sitton stated that the Council had convened at 10:00 A. M.;
inadvertently the tape machine was not operating.
10:56 A. M. COUNCIL ADJOURNED
There being no further business to come before Council, Councilmember
Ince made a motion to adjourn; Councilmember Cooke seconded the
motion. Motion carried: 5 Yeas, 0 Nays. Mayor Sitton and
Councilmembers Cooke, Hernandez, Ince, and Patterson were present
when Council adjourned.
