REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING

The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in regular session on the 25"
day of January, 2000, at the Lubbock Police Academy, 508 Davis Drive, Reese
Center, Lubbock, Texas at 10:00 A. M.

Present: Mayor Windy Sitton, Mayor Pro Tem Max Ince, Councilmember
Alex "Ty" Cooke, Councilmember Victor Hernandez,
Councilmember Marc McDougal, Councilmember David Nelson,
Councilmember T. J. Patterson
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Sitton stated the Council would hold an executive session in
accordance with the V.T.C.A. Government Code, Section 551 to
deliberate, vote and take final action on notice to the Public Utility
Commission regarding certificated service area of Lubbock Power and
Light as provided by Section 37.060(b) of the Texas Utility Code.
10:01 A. M. CITY COUNCIL RECESSED TO EXECUTIVE SESSION
All councilmembers were present.
( 1.) Hold an executive session in accordance with V.T.C.A. Government
Code, Section 551.086, to deliberate, vote and take final action on
notice to the Public Utility Commission regarding certificated service
area of Lubbock Power and Light as provided by Section 37.060(b)
of the Texas Utility Code.

Absent: None.
Mayor Sitton called the meeting to order at 10:10 A. M.

Ince made a motion to adjourn; Councilmember Nelson seconded the
motion. Motion carried: 7 Yeas, 0 Nays.
