SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
FEBRUARY 18, 1994
9:00 A.M.
The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in special session on the 18th
day of February, 1994 in the City Council Chambers, first floor, City Hall, 1625
13th Street, Lubbock, Texas at 9:00 A.M.
Present: Mayor David R. Langston, Councilmember Victor Hernandez,
Councilmember M. J. Aderton, Councilmember Alex Cooke and Deputy City
Secretary Beatriz M. Rodriguez.
Absent: Mayor Pro Tem Randy Neugebauer, Councilmember T. J. Patterson,
Councilmember Max Ince.
Mayor Langston called the meeting to order at 9:07 A.M.
( 1.) The Invocation was given by Councilmember Alex Cooke.
( 2.) The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison by those in the
Council Chambers.
( 3.) Hold an executive session, in accordance with V.T.C.A.
Government Code, Section 551.074 (a)(1), to discuss personnel
matters (Chief of Police).
( 4.) Take appropriate action to confirm appointment of a Chief of
Police for the City of Lubbock.
No action was taken.
