SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
February 4, 1993
7:30 A.M.
The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas met in special session on
the 4th day of February, 1993 in the City Council Chambers, first floor,
City Hall, 1625 13th Street, Lubbock, Texas at 7:30 A.M.
Present: Mayor David Langston, Mayor Pro Tem Maggie Trejo,
Councilmember T. J. Patterson, Councilmember M. J. Aderton,
Councilmember Randy Neugebauer, Councilmember Max Ince, City Attorney
John C. Ross, Jr., and Acting City Secretary Sally Abbe.
Absent: Councilmember Alex Cooke and Acting City Manager Bob Cass.
Mayor Langston called the meeting to order at 7:34 A.M.
( 1.) The Invocation was given by Anna Mosqueda, Assistant
to the City Manager.
( 2.) The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison by
those in the Council Chambers.

( 3.) Hold an executive session, in accordance with
Article 6252-17, Section 2(g), to consider
applicants for the position of City Secretary.
The Council went into executive session to interview applicants for the
position of City Secretary at 7:36 A.M.
Mayor Pro Tem Trejo reconvened the meeting at 12:21 P.M. and announced
that the Council had completed its Executive Session.
