Pursuant to Notice given on July 27, 1978, a Special Called Session of the City Council of Lubbock, Texas
was held for the purpose of scheduling a date and time to hold a public nearing to determine the industrial
gas rate.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor West. Those present: Mayor West, Councilman Alan Henry, Council-
woman Carolyn Jordan, Councilman Bill McAlister, Councilman M. J. Aderton, City Manager Larry Cunningham,
City Secretary Evelyn Gaffga.
A-b-sent: None
Motion was made by Councilman Henry, and seconded by Councilwoman Jordan, to establish the date of August 10,
1978 as the deadline for the filing of a proposed industrial gas rate report by Pioneer Natural Gas Co., and
that a public hearing will be held August 24, 1978 at 1:30 p.m. on said matter. Motion carried: Mayor West,
Councilmen Henry, McAlister, Jordan, and Aderton voting Yea; none voting Nay.
Meeting was adjourned.
