Alister voting Yea, none voting Nay to adopt the proposed rates as presented.
Henry Huneke, Chairman of the Parks and Recreation Board, appeared and presented revised re-
servation rules for Garden and ARts Center. The proposed reservation procedure calls for the
member groups to complete their scheduling before the first Monday in July. On this first
Monday other groups which are using the building would be given the opportunity to reserve the.
same days for the upcoming year as they had during the prior year. If those days previously
used are not the most desirable for the particular group, an attempt will be made by the Gar-
den and Arts Center Supervisor to trade dates with other groups and this would be done if the
trades were satisfactory to all concerned. If a group could not schedule its activities on the
most desirable days, the group's desired days would be placed on a waiting list. Reservations
by these other organizations would be accomplished from the first Monday in July until the
Third Monday in July. At that time requests for reservations would be taken from groups which
are not currently using the building on a regular basis. After consideration of all inform-
ation presented, motion was made by Councilman McAlister, seconded by Councilman Henry, motion
