garding the creation of a Convention Bureau. After considerable discussion, motion was made by
Councilman Henry to pass a resolution establishing a Convention and Tourism Bureau.

outlined in the resolution and that Councilman Henry work with the City Attorney on a resolution
to be adopted in final form in two weeks. This motion died for lack of a second.
The original motion by Councilman Henry to pass a resolution was seconded by Councilman McAlister.
It was the consensus of City Council that this matter be worked out through legal Department, so
there would be no violation of City Charter.
