SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 30, 1976
The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 12:00 Noon in the EOC, City Hall (follow-
ing a Work Session with representatives of the Chamber of Commerce), the following members there-
of being present, to -wit:
Mayor Roy Bass, Councilman Dirk West, Councilwoman Carolyn Jordan, Councilman Alan Henry, Council-
man Bryce Campbell, City Manager N. B. McCullough, Assistant City Attorney Ken Jones and City
Secretary -Treasurer Treva Phillips.
Absent: Fred 0. Senter, Jr., City Attorney.
76-35-120-337 The City Council considered passage on second reading Ordinance No. 7227, amending Article VII
(1) of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances creating a convention promotion subcommittee.
After lengthy discussion, motion was made by Councilman Henry, seconded by Councilman West,
motion carried, Mayor Bass, Councilmen West, Jordan, Henry and Campbell voting Yea, none voting
Nay to table this item until April 8, and that a liason committee meeting with the Board of City
Development be set up before that date, and a report brought to the City Council at the April 8,
1976 meeting.
NO FURTHER BUSINESS COMING UP FOR CONSIDERATION, THE CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED FROM SPECIAL CITY
COUNCIL MEETING, March 30, 1976.
