giving the County credit for any fees collected.
The question was raised as to method of notifying persons affected regarding the phasing out of

It was the consensus of the Council that all effort be made to place, in other areas, the persons
who will lose jobsbecause of this phasing out of services.
Motion was made by Councilwoman Jordan that notice of these decisions of the City Council be given
to the County Commissioners and the Hospital District, and express the City's extreme dissatis-
faction at their failure to respond and assume responsibility in this area. This motion died

It was the consensus of the Council that copies of the motions in regard to this item will be
sufficient notice to County Commissioners and the Hospital District, to be sent with a cover
letter from the Mayor.
