SPECIAL CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING:
The City Council of the City of Lubbock met in a Special Called Meeting on June 18, 1969, at
8:30 A.M. in the City Hall. The following members thereof being present to -wit:
Mayor W. D. Rogers, Jr., Councilman James H. Granberry, Councilman Deaton Rigsby, and City
Attorney Fred 0. Senter, Jr.
Absent: Councilman Lonnie F. Hollingsworth, Councilman Morris W. Turner, and City Secretary
Lavenia Lowe.
69-28-211-537 Motion by Councilman Granberry, seconded by Councilman Rigsby, motion carried, Mayor Rogers and
Councilmen Granberry and Rigsby voting Yea, none voting Nay, to authorize appointment of the
following as members of the City and School Tax Equalization Board for the year 1969:

Dewey Rothwell
Owen Gilbreath
Bill Ed McLaughlin
Alex Cooke
J. P. Elms
W. H. Spears
Gordon Moore
John Miller
