Re: Certificate of Completion
Runway and Taxiway Improvements
Contract with Kerr Construction Company
Gentlemen and Lady:
We hereby certify that Kerr Construction Company has completed the General Aviation Hangar
Pavement and the overlay of a portion of the commercial aircraft parking apron as required under
Change Order No. 1, all in accordance with the contract dated August 16, 1973•
The original contract amount of $31,230.00 was exceeded for two reasons: (1) the new T-hangars
installed by Hangars of Lubbock were longer than originally planned, which required the pavement
to be lengthened and (2) the overlay of a portion of the commercial aircraft parking apron.
Kerr Construction Company has furnished an affidavit that all bills have been paid in connection
with the construction of this project. The affidavit is enclosed (3 copies).
Also enclosed are five copies of Estimate No. 3 (FINAL). The estimate indicates the final cost
of the general aviation hangar pavement to be $32,505.15 and the cost of the overlay of the
commercial aircraft parking apron to be $6,576.00. for a total of $39,081.15.
We recommend the general aviation apron pavement and apron overlay pavement be accepted and the
Contractor be paid the final amount due of $3,908.12.
Sincerely,
