SPECIAL CALLED CITY COUNCIL MEETING
The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 5:15 o'clock a.m. in the regular meeting
place in the City Hall, the following members thereof being present to -wit:
Mayor W. D. Rogers, Jr., and Councilmen James H. Granberry, Jack Kastman, Ray J. Diekemper, Jr.,
and W. E. Medlock, Assistant City Attorney Ken Jones, City Manager W. R. Blackwell and City
Secretary -Treasurer Lavenia Lowe.
Absent: None
This meeting was called for the purpose of appointing a member to the Canadian River Municipal
Water Authority Board. Mr. Goerge McCloskey who was appointed to serve on this Authority being
unable to serve.
67-26-320-850 Motion by Councilman Medlock, seconded by Councilman Kastman, motion carried, Mayor Rogers and
(1) Councilmen Granberry, Kastman, Diekemper and Medlock voting Yea, none voting Nay, to authorize
the appointment of W. C. "Bill" O'Mara as a member of the Canadian River Municipal Water Author-
ity Board. Mr. O'Mara's term for two years; term to expire July 31, 1969. This is a two member
board, the other member being J. Ray Dickey.
