SPECIAL CALLED MEETING:
The City Council of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 4:30 o'clock p.m, in the regular meeting
place in the City Hall, the following members thereof being present to -wit:
Mayor W. D. Rogers, Jr., and Councilmen
and W. E. Medlock, City.Attorney Fred 0.
Secretary -Treasurer Lavenia Lowe.
Absent: None
James H. Granberry, Jack Kastman, Ray J. Diekemper, Jr.,
Senter, Jr., City Manager,W..R. Blackwell and City
67-26-269-750 Motion by Councilman Kastman, seconded by Councilman Medlock, motion carried, Mayor Rogers and
(1) Councilmen Granberry, Kastman, Diekemper and Medlock voting Yea, none voting Nay, that authoriza-
tion be hereby given for the City of Lubbock to underwrite approximately $6,000 or the City's
share of the approximate $18,500 needed by the South Plains Guidance Center for operation at thi:
time, provided the County Commissioners Court and the Lubbock Independent School District contrit
their one-third of the approximate $18,500 needed.
NO FURTHER BUSINESS COMING UP FOR CONSIDERATION, THE CITY COUNCIL ADJOURNED FROM THIS SPECL)
