Our policy of delivery has acquired us three trucks and trailers. Our method of handling 20' length material is such that we need some 10 to 15 such vehiclew with a tug and 2 fork lifts. Material by carload rail ---full track loads and normal freight incoming presents further problems. We made plans, plans we thought were adequate to be moved into new quarters at Quaker Ave. and Clovis Highway by December 1, 1965, however, we were dealing with financing that apparently was more swindle than finance. It is impossible to move during our busy season of January thru August. We have leased a fenced lot at 16th anal C, an extra lot at 18th and D, and parts of 4 lots between 18th & 19th of alley between C & D Streets and we feel until our season ends in August that we have spread ourselves so far that handling is a terrific expense. Even under these circumstances we still have no way -to load and unload trucks and trailers or pickups and trailers without using public streets. We will be in new quarters by the end of the year. Retco Manufacturing requests permission to appear before the City Council for such permits in Area as described by attached diagram and discription. Yours truly, /s/ Roy E. Thompson Roy E.
