Our proposal is shown on a blue print now in your office showing that we would set back from th
present curb line 11 feet and would have a 11 foot sidewalk.
We feel this will help us in several ways, facilitate parking, allow additional parking space
and less maintenance between the curb and sidewalk.
We will appreciate your giving this favorable consideration and presenting to the City Council
for its approval.

65-24-535-1324 DELAYED HOSPITAL REIMBURSEMENTS
(33) (Minute Order Commissioners' Court, Special Meeting December 15, 1965).
On a motion fade by Arch Lamb and seconded by Alton Brazell and passing unanimously, the
Commissioners' Court of Lubbock County made the following findings and. passed the following
resolutions on Hospital Reimbursements.
As a matter of Welfare policy ratified and confirmed by the Commissioners' Court and the
City Council, the City -County Welfare Department does not fully reimburse the local hospitals
for all expenses incurred by such hospitals in medical indigency cases. Among these items not
fully reimbursed are charges for room rent, blood transfusions, emergency room cost and certain
items involved in intensive care.
J3
DEC 16 1965
The Commissioners' Court of Lubbock County finds that at this ending financial period, in
consideration of the absence of any City -County hospital facilities; there should be partial
reimbursements on a pro-rata-basis for some of the un-reimbursed items of expenditure of the
local hospitals as above set out. These proposed reimbursements to such -hospitals are to be in
proportion to the services purchased from each said hospital during the calender year 1965, which
includes bills paid through December 13, 1965.
The Court authorizes the County Auditor to pay an additional 10% reimbursement. Such reim-
bursement is to be based on the total approved services purchased from each such local hospital
in the year 1965 through the date December 13, 1965. This action is to set no precedent and in
no way is intended to commit any future Court to any similar payments.
This resolution is to become effective upon the ratification and confirmation of the City
Council of the City of Lubbock.
