the "ity Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2 P.M.
in recessed regular session, recessed from regular meeting of
December 23, 1948, at the regular meeting place in the 1-it y Hall,
the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor W.H. Rodgers, Commissioner E.K. Hufstedler, Jr.,
City Attorney Vaughn E. Wilson, City Manager M.R. Smith,Jr., City
Secretary Lavenia Williams.
Absent: �,ommissi.oners W.B. Price, Clarence K. Whiteside, John Spikes.
Also present in the meeting was H.N. Roberts, of H.N. Roberts and
Associates, Engineers, Engineer for the City of Lubbock on the Sewage
Treatment Plant Addition project.
This being the date advertised to receive bids on Sewage Treatment Plant
fidditions, Division 1, H.N. Roberts and Associates, Engineers,
a quorum of the Cite Commission not being present, the Mayor asked all
contractors submitting proposals on this job if it was satisfactory to
them for the bids to be opened. A representative of each company submitting
bids was present, and all arrreed to the bids being opened and tabulated
and the City 6ommission to meet at 9 A.M, January 8, 1949, to consider
the bids.
