The City Commission of the pity of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2 l.1d.
in recessed regular session, recessed from re,.ulur :.Meeting of
May 8, 1947, at the regular meeting place in the Uity Hall, the
following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor C.A. Bestwick, Uommissioners F.H. Childress, John Spikes,
J. Ray Dickey, City Attorney Vaughn E. Vilson.
Absent: Commissioner W.B. 'Price and City 114anager Homer ". Hunter.
I:Iotion by Co_ m:ssioner Spikes, seconded by �jom.Childress, carried
unanimously, that the Mayor be authorized to make appointments
as follows:
