session, recessed from Regular Meeting of February 22, 1951, at the
meeting place in the City Hall, the following members thereof being
to -wit:
Clarence K. Whiteside, Commissioners Harry Morris, Lucian Thomas, L. E.
City Attorney Vaughn E. Wilson, City Manager Steve Matthews, City Secretary

This meeting was called for the purpose of discussion of widening paving on Nort
College Avenue, from 4th Street North to the Clovis Roadq After discussion by
the Commission, it was unanimously agreed that paving on North College Avenue,
from 4th Street North to the Clovis Road (a distance of approximately 4800 feet,
be widened to either 82 or 84 feet. The property owners to be requested to pay
90% (ninety, per cent) of the cost of fifty five (55t ) foot paving, the City of
Lubbock to finance the remaining cost. It being the intention of the City Com-
mission to request the County of Lubbock to participate one-half of the cost of
paving the street over the 55 foot width.
