The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 5 P.M. in Recessed Regular
Meeting recessed from Regular Meeting of July 24, 1952, at the regular meeting place
in the City Hall, the following members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor Murrell R. Tripp, Commissioners Harr, Morris and Hurley Carpenter.
Absent: Commissioners L. E. Davis and Lucian Thomas.
��-11-41-70 Motion by Commissioner Morris, seconded by Commissioner Carpenter, motion carried,
Mayor Tripp and Commissioners Norris and Carpenter voting Yea, none voting Nay,
Ordinance Number 1255 was passed on second and final reading. The caption of
Ordinance Number 1255 follows:
ORDINANCE NUMBER 1255
AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSING 24TH STREET BETWEEN THE EAST PROPERTY LINE
OF DATE AVENUE AND THE inEST PROPERTY LINE OF ELM AVENUE.
No further business coming up for consideration, the City Commission recessed
