RECESSED REGULAR MEETING
Lubbock, Texas
April g, 1952
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2:30 PANT. in recessed
regular session, recessed from regular meeting of March 27, 1952, at the regular
meeting place in the City Hall, the following members thereof being present, to -
wit:
Mayor -Murrell R. Tripp, Commissioners Harry Morris, Hurley Carpenter, L. E. Davis,
Lucian Thomas, City Attorney Vaughn E.'Wilson, City Manager, Steve Matthews, City
Secretary Lavenia Lowe.
Absent:- None
Motion was made by Commissioner Carpenter, seconded by Commissioner Morris, motion
carried,'Mayor Tripp and Commissioners Morris, Carpenter, Davis and Thomas voting
YEA, none voting NAY, to appoint the followint; persons as members of the Board or,
Commission, as stated:

S� Building Code Requirement - 5 member board.
No term to be stated.
Atmer Atkinson - Homer Maxey, Hugh Anderson, Max Tidmore, K. C. Butler.
City Planning and Zoning Commission
Jerry Fulton appointed to fill unexpired term of W. H. Carpenter, who resigned.
Term to expire: November 16, 1954.
Park Commission
5 Member Board - Charter Requirement.
Appointments for five year term.
James H. (Jimmie) Whiteside appointed - term to expire March 31, 1957.
Recreation Board
Ordinance No. 690 - 7 Member Board
Appointments for four year terms.
