The abovementioned pipeline ease— ment and option is filed in Vol. 456, page 212, Lubbock Co. Deed Records. The following report was given the City Commission. - The West Lubbock Co. Supply Line has been land and the Contractor is in the process of completing the final tests. The line is presently full of water and the West one—half of the line has already been subjected to a hydrostatic pressure of 74 pounds per square inch. Leakage at this pressure was determined by measuring the quantity of water required to be pumped into the line to maintain this essure. The leakage and pressure tests indicgted that the West one-half of the line -stand a pressure of 74 p.s.i. with a leakage of 3.4 gallons per minute. This leakage is 0.2 of a gallon per minute under the allowable established by the specifications and the 74 p.s.i. test pressure is twice the pressure required by they specifications. The pressure and leakage test on the East one-half of the line should be completed this week and the final estimate- should be ready for approval by January 13, 1955. All right-of-way damage claims have been settled with the exception of one.
