ten (10) small houses recently purchased by the City in

July 8, 1954.
The following report was given the City Commission. -
The City Planning and Zoning Commission in.Regular Meeting, June 3, 1954,
unanimously recommended to the City Commission that the following zone change
request not be granted.
ZONE CASE NO. / - Request of J. G. Wilkerson to change Lots 5 through 9,
Block 14, Phyllis Wheatley from the "B" to the "J" Zoning District (David
Avenue and 37th Street).
The reason the Planning and Zoning Commission stated for their recommendation
was that to grant such a request would be in violation of the established deed
restrictions in this area, and therefore would be in bad faith to those who have
built residences and to loan companies that have guaranteed loans in this addition subject
to those deed restrictions.
