unanimously, to confirm action of the 1-ark `'ommi.ssion in rurchase of B1.ock9 2
and 3, Harry Homes Addition to the Citv of Lubbock, Texas, from.O.C. Davis,
and autrnrize Mavor O.W. Ribble to execute deed fror" the City of Lubbock
to J.C. Davis for Block 15, Harry Hones Addition, this block rlus 069000.00
being the rurchase rrice of this land.

27, 1944, at the expense of the `'itv of Lubbock.

attend Conference of Texas Division of International Association for
Identification, to be held in Houston, Texas, June 26, 27, P8, 1944, at
the expense of the 11ity of Lubbock.

There was discussion of renting, a trenching machine, and motion was
made by Commissioner trice, seconded by Commissioner Childress, carried
unanimously, to authorize Lity Manager to rent a trenching, machine for
l the rurrose of cutting trench for 16" water main from No. 3 Reservoir to
southwest rart of town.
`):'here was discussion of emplovina architect to prepare plans and
srecificati-ons for Fire Station to be located at 30th Street and Texas
Avenue, but no action taken.
Motion by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner J-)ickev, carried
unanimously, to a Point the following men to serve as members of the
Tax Equalization oard for the vear 1944.
