xhe City commission of the "ity of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2 1.M. in
Recessed regular Session, recessed from Reg lar Meeting of Oct. 26,
1944, at the regular meeting place in the city Hall, the following; members
thereof being present, to -wit:

This beir. the day set to receive bids on purchase of additional engine and
g;eneratin�; unit for the -,ity's electric light, and power plant, .motion was
made by 6ommissioner Uhildress, seconded by �;omriissioner Trice, carried
unanimously, that kids be opened and read.
Zhe bid of Nordberg Manufacturing �,ompan,y o. A.9ilwaukee, +risc., being the
only bid received, it was opened, real and referred to City--lanaper
smith, Jr., and J.J. Graham, Electrical Superintendent, for tabulation and
cons ideratior.
No further business coming up for consideration, the �'ity Iaommission
recessed to .meet Nov. 4, 1944, at 10 i1.M., for further consideration of
thi g bid.
