Lubbock, Texas
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2:30 P.M. in the Caprock Hotel
in Lubbock, Texas, for the purpose of opening bids for the construction of Auditorium -
Coliseum Building to be located in the vicinity of 6th Street and College Avenue In Lubbock,
Texas. The following persons being present at the meeting: Mayor Tripp, Commissioners
Harry Morris, Hurley Carpenter, L. E. Davis, Lucian Thomas, City Manager Steve Matthews,
Acting City Attorney W. L. Somers, City Engineer W. B. Holmes, Director of Public Safety
Lynn Andrews.
