Motion by Commissioner J.C. Jones, seconded by Commissioner Hub Jones, carried
unanimously, to authorize Mayor C.E. Slaton to file annlication with Federal
Works Agency for a grant in the amount of Three Thousand ($3,0_,O.00) Dollars,
for ?payment of rent for a period of one year bepinninp February 1, 1944,
on the Lubbock U.S.O. building located at 122.1 13th. Street, Lubbock, Texas.
No further business coming ur for consideration, the City Commission
adjourned.
