April 29, 1942.
The �'ity Commission of the City of Lubbock Texas, met at 5 P.M.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed frorl regular Meeting of
April 23, 1942, at the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall, the
follcmiing members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor C E Slaton Commissioners W B Price, Garland Newsom, City Manager
W H Rodgers and 6ity Secretary Lavenia Williams.
Absent: Commissioner W G McMillan and Commissioner Hub Jones.
Motion by Commissioner Price, seconded by Commissioner Newsom, carried
unanimously, to authorize Mayor C E Slaton to execute bid contract between
the Uity of Lubbock and the War Department, for Electric `'urrent at
Lubbock j'ir School Number 2.

No further business coming up for consideration, the City Commission
Recessed to meet April 30, 1942, at 5 P.M.
