Lubbock, Texas, March 6, 1942.
The City Commission of the `'ity of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2:00 P.M.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular I,ieeting of
Feb. 26, 1942, at the Regular Meeting 'lace in the Uity Hall,
the following members thereof being present, to -wit

Mayor C L Slaton, `'orimissioners Garland Newsom, W G Mollillan, Hub
Jones, 'Jity Manager W H Rodgers and pity Secretary Lavenia Williams.
Absent: Commissioner Vd B Price.
Notion by Commissioner Garland Newsom, seconded b7 Commissioner
Hub Jones, the, following Resolution was adopted.
NOTICE OF CIT`1 ELECTIC-N
At a Recessed Regular Meeting of the City Commission of the
City of Lubbock, Texas, held at 2:00 P.M., March 6, 1942, at
the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall, a quorum being present,
upon rmtion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, general
election for election of City officers is ordered for City of
ii Lubbock on April 7, 1942, to be held between hours of 8 o'clock A.M.
and 7 o'clock P.M., in accordance with general election laws of the
State, at the following place:
Corporation Court 'room, City Police Station, Lubbock, Texas.
Election Judges to hold said election hereby appointed are:
W.E . Ballew
R. Bush Smith
Mrs. F.M. Maddox

City Secretary.
No further business coming up for consideration, the City Commission
adjourned.
