Lubbock, Texas,
Feb. 5. 1942.
The City commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 9:00 A.M.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular Meeting of
January 22, 1942, at the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall,
the following members thereof being present, to wit:
Mayor C E Slaton, Commissioners Hub Jones, Garland Newsom, W G McMillan,
W. B. Price, City Manager W H itodgers and City Attorney Durwood H Bradley.
Absent: None.
Motion by Commissioner McMillan, seconded by Commissioner Jones,
the following Resolution carried unanimously.
RESOLUT ION
BE IT RESOLVED: that C.E. Slaton, Mayor of the City of Lubbock,
be and he is hereby authorized and directed on behalf of the City of
Lubbock, to execute and deliver to the Government that certain lease
dated February 5th, 1942, and by reference incorporated herein and
made a part of this Resolution.
IT WAS DULY MOVED and seconded that the foregoing resolution be adopted;
whereupon a vote was had with the following result:
Mayor C E Slatan voted "Yea", Commissioners W.B. Price, W.G. McMillan,
Hub Jones and Garland Newsom, each voted "Yea"
Whereupon C.E. Slaton, Manor declared the resolution duly passed and
adopted.
No further business coming up for consideration, the City Commission
Recessed to meet Feb. 5, 19429 at 1:30 P.M.
Read and approved ,this the 12th day of February , 1942.
