additional taxi -cab service within the City of Lubbock, Texas.

and decided that the four taxi -cab co..:panies now ore:,7atinf- in Lubbock
be ni.ven two weeks time in which to increase their facilities
sufficient to satisfy the City Commission that they could and ,%Iould
adequately serve the public need for taxi -cab service, and if, at the
end of ti,is t ;o weeks reriod, or January 2, 1943, the four taxi -cab companies
h--r ve not roduced sufficient and satisfactory evidence to the pity Corimi,Wsion
showing that they h::.ve increased their facilities, sufficiently to adequately
sebve the public needs for taxi -cab service, then, the `'itv I�onar-.lission will
nrive further consideration to the pendin-- arplic,=t_ons for permits to operate
taxi -cab companies .�,ithin the L'ty of Lubbock, Texas.
