Nov. 16, 1942.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 7:30 P.M.
in Recessed Reg)-,lar Session, Recessed from Regular Meeting of November
121 19421 at the regular meeting place in the Cit v Hall, the following
members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor C E 6laton, Commissioners W.B. Price, J.0. Jones, Garland Newsom,
Hub Jones, City Attorney Durwood H Bradley, City Manager M.R. Smith,Jr.,
City Auditor R.B. Luker, City Secretary Lavenia Williams.
Absent: Commissioner Hub Jones.
Also present in the meeting was Mr. W.D. rrince of Irince, Harris & Company,
Dallas, Texas, who presented audit made by this firm for period March 31,
1942, to August 31, 1942.
The Audit report was reviewed, and after discussion, motion was made by
Commissioner Vi.B. Price, seconded by Uommissioner Garland Newsom, and
unanimously carried, that audit be accepted, and payment in the amount of
ip4,396.33 be made, in accordance with agreement, with Prince, Harris and
Company, of date Sept. 3, 1942.
No further business coming up for consideration, the City Commission
recessed to meet November 25, 1942, at 1:30 P.M.
