The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, net at 1:30
in Iecessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular I--eeting of "pril 24,
1941, at the Re�,ular meeting; ply-ce in the City Hall, the following nembers
thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor C E Slaton, Commissioners Hub Jones, .+ G McMillan, Uity T,Aanager
:J R Rodgers and City Secretary Lavenia :+illiams.
Absent: Commissioners 7d B Price and Garland Newsom.
I -lotion by commissioner Jones, seconded by Oorarissioner I.;cI:illan, carried
unanimously, that 4.G. KcI.illan go to San "ntonio to work out deal 1rjith
°J.r.a. regarding cover stone for Airport Raving, not to exceed �4,000.00
extra cost to the City. T.Lis trip to be Mace at the expense of the Uity
of �_ubbock.
I:lotion by Oonr.:issionor EclAllan, seconded by Co=iissioner Jones, carried
unanimously, to accept check in payment of :J. Rushing Taxes in amount
of 0150.42, for year 1940.
