Lubbock, Texas, April 14, 1941.
The Oity Commission of the amity of Lubbock, Texas, met at 9:30 A.1-%
in Recessed Re -ular Session, recessed from Re-,ular hieeting of 11.pril
10, 1941, at the regular 1.-eeting -;lace in the amity Hall, the following
members thereof being present, to -wit:
Mayor C E Slaton, commissioners Garland Newsom, Hub Jones, 4 G LcMillan,
City Manager .-i H codgers and City Secretary Lavenia 4illiams.
Absent: Commissioner 01 B -'rice.
Motion by Commissioner NcT,:illan, seconded by Commissioner Jones,
the follo�+Ping Resolution carried unanimously, all voting AYE.
RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor of the City of Lubbock, 'Texas,
be and he is hereby aut: orized and directed on behalf of the �'ity
of Lubbock, Texas, to execute and deliver to the Government that
certain lease dated the 14th day of April, 1941, and
by reference incorporated herein and made a part of this resolution,
said lease covering the following described property situated in the
County of Lubbock, State of 'Texas:
All of Jection 4 except that part in the Southwest corner of
said Section lying and being south of the Lubbock-Levelland
highway; and the aouth 1/2 of Section 25; and the East 1/2 of
Section 26 lying north of the Lubbock-Levelland highway, all
in Block D6, Lubbock County, Texas; and the Joutheast 3,4 of
Section 48 in Block P, Lubbock County, Texas.
IT ,VAS h-OVED by Commissioner Ycbllillan, and seconded by Uommissioner
Jones, that the foreF•oing resolution be adopted; whereupon a vote
was had with the following result: All voting AYZ.

and adopted.
