The City Commission of the 1%ity of Lubbock, Texas, met at 12 o'clock noon,
in Recessed Regular Session, recessed from xegular Lleeting of May 23,
1940, at the Regular I,:eeting, Place in the City Hall, the following members
thereof being present, to-�iit:
I.layor C E 61_:ton, `tnmissioners W G IyI"cildillan, Garland Newsom, Hub Jones,
City Lianager W H iiodgers and City Secretary Lavenia 'dilliams.
Absent: Cornissi -iner d. B. 2ri ce.
K'otion by Commissioner ITewsom, seconded by Commissioner Jones, carried
unanimously, to set aside 9"6, 280.00 for participation in 1,aclienzie estate
rark Development Program for year 1940-1941. 44,000.00 of this amount
to be in budget for year 1940, ending I,.arch 61, 1941, 2.nd �2,280.00 to be
in budget for year 1941, ending March 31, 1942.
Iloti n by Commissioner I,�.ci,iillan, seconded by Commissioner Jones, carried
unanimously, to pay F. Olin �:-ith '117.00 as balance of salary and expense
in connection with work in I acKenzie State Park.
Motion by Commissioner I,icLillan, seconded by Cor iissioner Newson,
c-Irried unanimously, to pass Ordinance Ivo. 649, second and final reading.
