Lubbock, Texas, May 28, 1940.
The City Commission of the City of Lubbock, Texas, met at 2 o'clock P.M.
in Recessed Regular Session, Recessed from Regular 1b;eeting of May 23, 1940,
at the Regular Meeting Place in the City Hall, the following members thereof
being present, to -wit:
Mayor C E Slaton, Commissioners W.G.McNillan, W.B. Price, Hub Jones,
Garland Newsom, City Attorney Durwood H. Bradley, City Manager W.H.Rodgers
and City Secretary Lavenia Williams.
Absent: None.
This being the day set for the purpose of receiving bids for the
contruction of certain storm sewer improvements in the City of Lubbock,
Upon motion by Cor.:missioner Mcfiiillan, seconded by Commissioner Newsom,
carried unanimously, that bids be opened and read,
Bids were opened, read and considered, and the meeting was recessed until
7 o'clock P.M., May 28, 1940, at which time further consideration be given
the bids.
